Omnicity is a community-based, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the wellness of Central and Eastern Virginia's underserved First Nations communities.
Our mission is to cultivate wholeness which is the healthy, integrated relationship with ourselves, others and the environment. We conduct community-based participatory research, community education, community outreach and community programming.
Our core beliefs underlying our programs include embracing the interrelatedness of all life; respecting and affirming the culture and sovereignty of our communities and individuals; recognizing the value and dignity of our young people, as well as the wisdom of our elders; bringing generations together to learn from one another; and supporting our right to be healthy, responsible, integrated beings. We provide culturally appropriate programming that supports learning and growing into our whole potential.
